Owen Sound Airport

The Owen Sound (Billy Bishop) Regional Airport is a Transport Canada certified airport located about 5 km East of the City of Owen Sound on highway 26.  The airport complex occupies a land area of approximately 263 acres and serves as a base for an air charter service, sightseeing flights, aircraft maintenance facility , flight training operation  and dozens of privately owned aircraft.  The airport is also utilized frequently by military for training exercises and personnel transport, by air ambulance services, and by many corporate aircraft from Canada and the U.S.

The airport is owned and operated by the City of Owen Sound and provides Grey and Bruce counties with one of the vital links that connect people and business to a constantly increasing global economy.
